While meditation is about training mindfulness in the present, it doesn't always require to sit still with closed eyes and focusing on the breath.
I love to meditate whenever and wherever I am when it comes to my mind. Sitting on a terrasse of a cafe, observing people around me and feeling into myself, the tiny little reactions of my body towards happenings or rising thoughts. It can be very enjoyable and fun as you learn a lot about yourself while deepening your bond to the present, yourself.
